Happy New Year - On behalf of everyone here at Retrogames.com, I would like to wish you and your family a happy new year.
That said, I'd like to urge everyone to donate money for the victims and survivors of the massive earthquake in Asia, killing more than 100,000 people (numbers increase every single day) and leaving millions homeless and without relatives.

Added preliminary support for 26 Humongous Entertainment titles

Whichever suits you best. Go easy on the eggnog, New Year's Eve is around the corner ;)

Richard Bannister Takes Time Off - Richard Bannister has decided he's had enough of emulation for the time being and will not be updating his software for some months. The exact reasons can be found at the link above. That's what I've done a couple of times, it's usually very refreshing :) Go ahead, Richard, enjoy yourself!

Suprnova.org RIP - For those of you, who frequented Suprnova.org (like myself) for your bittorrent needs, it truly is a sad day. The site is no more, although there are still a few alternatives available, it won't be the same. Over the past two weeks, many torrent sites have pulled the plug or have had it pulled for them. (while I was writing this update, Sinead O'Connor's Nothing Compares 2 U was playing on internet radio)

Tatjana - I just returned home from the city, where I saw Tatjana perform live. She's a singer/actress (IMDB) and looked like Pamela Anderson from before Pam actually got on the scene. She's actually over 40 now and would rate as a MILF (yeah I know, male chauvinist pig, yadda yadda yadda ;), were it not that she does not have any kids. To my surprise, her hair was BROWN, so she kinda looked better.
Yeah, performance was good, too bad her voice is not *that* good (but at least she knew that, she was making fun of herself ;) Why am I writing all this for you to read? I have no idea, it's nearly 3AM and I can't sleep, I guess. Retroblog, anyone?

PCSX2 0.7 Released - A new version of this WIP (aren't all emus WIP?) PS2 emu has been released, more games seem to 'work' right now. I use that term loosely. Or is it lightly? I can't remember ;) Run the emu and post screenshots of games at their forum. Thanks to Europop for the news.

Gmail addy - Since my RG.COM mail address is near unusable because of spam, someone was kind enough to invite me to some Gmail action (gee, I make that sound so nasty ;), so you can reach me at (retroatila _at_ gmail.com). I'm not writing it as I should, because spambots are harvesting.

Sorry? - I just noticed that it has been nearly a week since the last post here at Retrogames. I'm very busy with other things (like starting my own urban dance club) and RG was put on the backburner, but we need to kickstart back in action. I get sickening amounts of spam on my mail addy here at RG, so filtering through 1,400 mails and getting 6 useful mails is not very motivating. I'll try to setup a new mail account where you can mail me, if necessary.

Women and PIN numbers don't mix - The Register reports that according to a survey, two out of three women use a single PIN number for all their (bank)cards. Or as they put it, "women are crap with PIN numbers" ;)
