Bhole DC - Quzar has released a port of toh-ava's DOS/386 emulator to the Dreamcast. The currently supported games are Round 42, Moon Bugs, Styx, Exterminator, Rollo and the Brush Bros., Transylvania, and Livingstone.

PS2p Handheld PS2 - In more portabalized console news, Ben Heckendorn, creator of the p line of handheld consoles - the Atari VCSp, the NESp, the SNESp, and the PSp (handheld version of the PSOne, not the PSP - the news of which came way after the PSp was made), has made a new handheld system from the new slimlined PS2 model.

Handheld Dreamcast - Dave (no, not that Dave ;)), the man behind the infamous Atari Jaguar handheld, has successfully constructed a handheld Dreamcast. This is not in kin with Treamcast's Dreamcast with an LCD screen, but is an actual handheld portable unit that is built into a custom case and runs on rechargable batteries.
The site hasn't been updated yet, so you can check some pictures of the unit in action here.

Magic Engine 1.0PR3 - Magic Engine, the shareware TG-16/PCEngine/CD/SCD emulator has been updated. Here's what's new:
- new gamepad code, should fix most problems.
- fixed cd-da looping.
- fixed a bug in the load menu that was crashing MagicEngine.
- the cursor is now hidden when playing.

DCaSTaway - A new release of the Atari ST emulator for the Dreamcast has just been released, Chui posted this news at DCEmu UK

NeoToxin NES Homebrew Game - NeoToxin is a new homebrew game in the making for the NES by Snowbrow and EFX. It's a platforming game that appears to be very Castlevania-like from it's screenshots. It's not yet ready for download, but you can check out some screenshots and listen to it's soundtrack in NSF format at it's homepage.

ZiNC 1.0.2 - ZiNC, an emulator for arcade video games based on Sony PlayStation hardware, has been updated. Here's the changes:
* Reversed Qsound channels.
* Tekken 3 now runs. Yes, I know it sounds like hell. Turn your speakers off.
* sfexp reparented as per MAME 0.88u3, the new US version is the parent.
* Added the release date to the description of all Capcom games so you can tell the difference between the 2 US sets of sfexp.
* Fixed misidentified sfex2-series sets.
* Added player 2 controls for Konami GV games.
* Fixed graphical issue in Bloody Roar 2.
* (Linux) libs11player.so now can also be in the LD search path. This is helpful for frontends.
NeoToxin - NeoToxin is an advanced NES homebrew project that has been under development for over five years. Neotoxin is a game that has already beeen compared to Castlevania SOTN and Megaman, it's a platforming sidescrolling action RPG with elements from many various succesful 2d games, there is leveling up, quests for items, choosing your loyalities for replayability, huge player and enemy/npc sprites, a kickass soundtrack which rivals many Scene Demo soundtracks, and a stellar game engine all made from 100% scratch.

* Fixed a bug of the sound I/O access queue

olafnes v1.0l - olafnes, is a modified version of basicnes 2000 v1.5 [debug level 2], a nintendo entertainment system emulator by don jarrett, david finch, and tobias strömstedt, has been updated. Here's what's new:
* added support for multiple sram files for individual games
* changed a few keyboard shortcuts, mostly function keys (f1-f12)
* number of roms is now displayed in the title bar of the rom list window
* added support for zipped files through zlib.dll (roms within the zip must be the same name as the zip)
* improved some buggy code from the original basicnes 2000 source code
* all files in /temp are now deleted when olafnes is closed
* added a varying amount of support for mappers: 57, 58, 200, 201, 203, 229
* minimal improvement on support for mapper 51
* removed 'refresh' from rom list window, as it was not working properly
* added menu function to randomly select a rom for the most recent rom directory
