Apple II Soul Captor DISKS.XML Builder - BlazeHedgehog has released a new utility for the Dreamcast Apple II emulator, Apple II Soul Captor. This utility, made with Multimedia Fusion, will create a disks.xml file for use with the emulator.
The disks.xml is the list of disk images you have on a disc. This utility automates the process, rather than making you create a file by hand.

Emu48 v1.39 - Emu48, the HP calculator emulator for Windows and ARM based Pocket PC and Windows Mobile 2003 (SE) platforms, has been updated. The latest version of Emu48 can emulate the HP38G, HP39G, HP40G, HP48SX, HP48GX and HP49G series calculators.

BASin r12a Spectrum Basic - The World of Spectrum has uploaded a new version of Paul Dunn's Basic environment for Spectrum computers. It saves to .tap and .tzx files, so programs created in BASin can be run on emulators.

Hatari v0.80 Source Release - Hatari, the Atari ST and STE emulator, has recieved a source release. Binaries have not been provided yet.

SNES Translation: Hiouden ~ Legend of the Scarlet King 1.00 - Aeon Genesis has released a complete translation for the Super Famicom strategy game, Hiouden. Gideon Zhi also announced that he's working on translating the Super Famicom Strategy RPG, Cyber Knight 2, thanks to z80gaiden's compression utilities and the translation expertise of Deuce. The script should be completely translated by tonight, and Gideon Zhi hopes to have most of the assembly work done by the weekend so that the translation can be playtested.

Dream On Magazine Preorders - I'm normally against making posts like this on Retrogames, but since it is on topic (the magazine covers retrogaming and emulation ;)), I'll make an exception. I'm now getting preorders for a Dreamcast magazine entitled Dream On. If 120 preorders are collected, the magazine will be newsstand quality. Either way, the magazine will cover both official and homebrew Dreamcast games and emulators, and will include a professionally pressed demo CD. The magazine can be preordered here.
