ZTnet, HanaHo & ArcadeWerx - Well, I see Metallik already mentioned the new ZTnet store, but I wanted to explain things a bit to our visitors. First off, the staff at Retrogames receives NO money from this (including myself), so we are still hobbyists just like you. Secondly, the main reason for the store is to augment ad income so we can GET RID OF THOSE POP-UPS! :) We ALL hate them, and by buying HanaHo products through the ZTnet store, you get exactly the same items, for exactly the same prices but ZTnet receives a commission to be used for maintaining the network. And that network includes MANY sites including Retrogames, MAME and lots more. At the moment HotRod arcade panels and Retrogames T-Shirts (I need a new one, someone stole mine!) are available to purchase, with more stuff to come later. Please forgive this long explanation, but I thought it should be clarified.
Now, here's the interesting part... A new product is coming called the ArcadeWerx. While I can't mention too many details yet, I suspect many people will like it. Especially HotRod owners... And it will be EXCLUSIVE to us!

Reuters, Yahoo, CNET and others have all violated the law by posting articles on how to circumvent copy-protection in CDs with a felt-tip pen (by the way, felt-tip pens are illegal now too). Digital Clones - Just finished watching Star Wars Episode II on one of the 50 or so digital projection screens available in the United States (Showcase Springdale). We wound up in the back, so I couldn't see too much increase in detail, although my friends claims to have seen facial hair on Natale Portman :) The colors were very vivid, and there was no artifacting, nor any print artifacts that mar traditional films. Except for a half-second dropout towards the beginning, the film was perfect. See it this way if you can, but don't make TOO much effort.. it's not that much of a difference.

-New "KScale" blitter. This is a new edge enhancement blitter with zero blur. It's also insanely fast compared to the traditional 2xSai/Super2xSai/SuperEagle. Comes in 4 variations: Plain, and 25%/50%/75% Scanlines. I personnally feel KScale+75%Scanlines is the best blitter in Kawaks, try it :) (MMX only).
-Shiny new "Smart Interframe blending" mode (MMX and non MMX versions). This new blending mode replaces all flickers (SamSho 4 life bars, KoF shadows, etc ...) by transparencies while the rest of the picture retains all its sharpness.

-New kb shortcut : Alt+B toggles between Interblending modes.
-New sound option : Low pass filter.
