Raine v0.37.3 - Raine has seen an update again. I'd download this release as it seems the authors are calling the previous release (0.37.2) as being "the most unstable version we ever made." Changes in version 0.37.3 are;
Rewrote the low level sound functions. Now sound quality should be much higher than ever (0.37.2 sound was rather bad, especially in windows at 22050 Hz. Now the synchronization method of the sound has completely changed). Also the stereo effect in windows in now much better (just try something like Kingdom Grand Prix with enhanced stereo turned on !).
Fixed and rewrote the triple buffer code. Windows users who have colors flickering in 8bpp are strongly encouraged to use triple buffer now. It's not working in every video mode though (and it might crash in dos).
Fixed lots of crashes in 0.37.2 (playing a few games in a certain order just crashed raine). Fixed crash in mazinger and kicknrun too.
Fixed bad colors in rygar, and fixed memory map in gemini king.
Fixed bad background in 3wonders, and fixed last cps1 clones to match mame conventions (yeah, mame does not support clones of clones...).
armedf, crazy climber 2 and terraf now support any color depth.
Switched to allegro for the sound for all versions of raine, and added "Max mixer volume" in the sound options. It can produce saturation or improve your sound. Just test. Windows users should now preferably use the AllegMix sound driver in the options.
nlx_doom added a key to reset the current game without calling the gui F1).
0.37.2 was too easy to crash, but this one should be much harder, it might even be the most stable version in the 0.30 series until now!

PocketMSX v0.001xx - PocketMSX is another new emulator for Pocket PCs. This one allows you to play your favorite MSX games while on the go. Changes are;
Atari800DC v0.75 - Atari800DC is an Atari800 emulator for the Dreamcast. Changes in version 0.75 are;
Uses Atari800 cvs code base as of Jan-11-2003.
Reverted the sound changes which were introduced in the 0.72 version - the sound should be similar to 0.71.
Saved states on the VMU now show a Atari icon. Due to a change in the layout of the state save file, saved states of previous versions aren't recognized.
Changing video mode of emulated Atari now doesn't change the video mode used to drive the screen. These 2 video mode settings (what the emulated Atari thinks the video mode is, and the video mode used by the DC) can now be changed independently. Setting them to different values will disable double buffering, so best results are achieved if both settings are the same.
Buttons B, X, Y on the 1st DC controller can now be redefined to generate simulated key presses on the keyboard. If they are redefined, the Start, Select, and Option keys can be entered in the keyboard emulation screen.
FrotzDC v0.6 - FrotzDC is an Interactive Fiction interpreter for the Sega Dreamcast which can play v1 through v5 Z-Machine games. Changes in version 0.6 are;

Atari++ v1.14 - "The Atari++ Emulator is a Unix based emulator of the Atari eight bit computers, namely the Atari 400 and 800, the Atari 400XL, 800XL and 130XE, and the Atari 5200 game console. The emulator is auto-configurable and will compile on a variety of systems (Linux, Solaris, Irix)." Features are;
Cycle precise emulation; this includes correct emulation of horizontal kernels and programs that modify chip registers within a horizontal line. In a less technical language, software making use of advanced displaying techniques will be emulated correctly.
Emulation of an advanced 1050 disk drive including single, double and enhanced density. The emulator not only understands .atr and .xfd files, but comes with a mini-boot loader that allows you to boot from binary load files (.exe and .com).
Precise emulation of ANTIC and GTIA graphics, including undocumented scrolling features, undocumented GTIA player/missile priorities and collision detection, and some other less known GTIA features. Color artifacting is also available.
Precise emulaton of POKEY sound, including "Software Speech", high-pass filters, POKEY hardware timer interrupts and serial input/output communications. An emulation of the console speaker is also included.
Emulates graphics output either thru X11, or the SDL library, including a screen snapshot feature.
Sound output is either emulated by the Open Sound System (OSS), the SDL library, or by recording the sound samples into a WAV file.
Cylce-precise 6502 emulation, including "extra-instructions" that are not documented in the 6502-manual, and also including all known hardware-bugs of the 6502.
Printer emulation thru standard LPR printer user interface.
Joystick, paddle and lightpen emulation by keyboard or mouse, or by standard analogue PC joysticks. A special home-made interface allows the connection of Atari digital joysticks by an additional joystick driver. Hence, you'll be able to play all your old games even with your digital joysticks.
Saves and loads machine states to save games in the middle of the game play, and allows to resume from that point later on.
Includes emulation of a variety of cartridge types, including 5200 games cartridges and Oss supercarts.
Effective emulation of 800XL/XE and cartridge bank-switching mechanisms.
Includes a Dos 2.xx compatible interface to the filing system of the emulator.
Easy to use graphical user front-end for simple setup and configuration, includes saving and loading of (human-readable) configuration files. The user front-end also allows to setup details like the player/missile collision setup to build "game-trainers" on demand.
Includes a built-in monitor allowing experts to debug Atari software easily.

xmame/xmess-0.62.1 - Not delaying 0.62.1 any longer; xmame / xmess-062.1 is out. Faster blit-time rotation and other changes will just have to wait. Changes since 0.61.1 include:
Almost everything from MAME 0.62 and MESS 0.62.1.
The game window should no longer open twice on startup in most cases. One known exception is Pac-Man with artwork enabled.
Replaced fileio.c with a slightly modified version from the Win32 codebase. Be aware that several command line switches have changed as a result!
Applied the Xv cleanup patch required for the VIDIX patch. (Alastair Robinson)
The number of games is no longer hard-coded to 3000 in datafile.c. This should fix problems with history.dat and -listinfo. (Rene Single)
Rotation is now handled by the OSD code. The method used is hardly optimal, but it should work for all display targets. Moving the rotation to the blit core is planned for a future release.
The Xv target now uses the game driver's aspect ratio unless the -nokeepaspect or -noka switch is specified. Inspired by Paul Sajecki's patch.
Simplified/unified the FPS on-screen display. This is now only overridden when the Barath frameskipper is in debug mode.
The DGA, GGI, and SVGALIB targets now use the game aspect ratio provided by the core rather than a hard-coded 4:3.
Using -x11-mode or -x11 to activate DGA fullscreen mode now disables Xv. Likewise, switching to DGA fullscreen mode via - is now disabled while Xv is active.
All path and directory options in fileio.c now support expansion of environment variables such as $HOME.
Fixed a warning about snprintf() when building for Mac OS X.
Fixed the XInput handling so that spinners no longer show an inertial effect. (David Mitchell)
Updated the documentation to include a section about the Xv extension. (Frank Cox)
Fixed problems in memory.c that could lead to crashes and default.cfg corruption. (smf)
Fixed a bunch of ANSI/ISO warnings reported by Stefano Priore.
Aspect and mode switches are now available for the Xv driver even if DGA isn't enabled.
Fixed a couple of files so that they #include <alsa/asoundlib.h> instead of the deprecated #include <sys/asoundlib.h>. (Nico)
Changed a net_active() call in src/mame.c to the osd_net_active(). I must have messed up my all-in-one core patch at some point.
The rc and hi directories are now created on startup if they're missing. (Gerd Sussner)
Merged NetMAME 0.6rc1, which should allow games to be playable over medium-latency connections, DSL, and cable. It also adds configurable ports and NVRAM sync. (Steve Freeland)
FPocketNES v8U8 - Flubba released a new unofficial build of Loopy's PocketNES, an NES emulator for the Gameboy Advance. This release adds support for "Mr Gimmick," fixed support for "Low G Man" and improved sprite scaling.
